The Tao of Thoth
-The Hammer and Chisel to The Compass and Square-
The Sacred Geometry of Primordial and Refinement symbolism, as referenced in Western Freemasonry and as depicted in Eastern metaphysics.
The Correspondence of The Ancient Chinese Gods Pangu and Fuxi and Nuwa with The Baboon and The Ibis Thoth representation in Egyptian conceptuality and the Neophyte Hermes Trismegistus with the Elder Hermes Trismegigistus.
Pangu is the primordial sacred geometer and Fuxi is the developed sacred geometer.
The baboon is the primordial sacred geometer and the ibis is the developed sacred geometer.
On the left we see Odin approach Mimir on his becoming from primordial to refined. Odin, The All Father, The One-Eyed God, loses one of his eyes in order to gain more refined sight.
The Romans depicted Mercury as young sacred geometer generally while The Greeks depicted Hermes Trismegistus as the elder sacred geometer.
Similarly rhetorically there is The Old Testament and The New Testament. And similarly characteristically is God The Father and God The Son idea of Biblical ideas.
The idea is not necessarily age but in development from primordial to refined, from the neophyte to the adept, and as The Fool to The Magician, as envisioned in The Tarot. One form is not necessarily better than the other. In some situations the primordial energy is more useful and in other situations the refined energy is more useful.

The Tao of Thoth unites The Eight Tenets, The Ogdoad of The Neters and The Bagua of The I'Ching - the same iteration of the Norse Thoth Energy of Odin and his eight-legged horse. Each of these gods brought divination techniques to humanity.
